all smiles!

We have a new favorite activity, smiling and it just melts our hearts. Mostly after her tummy is nice and full but we still can't seem to get enough of this infectious smile!

soccer time

In our recent visit to see family in North Carolina, we were able to catch a few soccer games with Averie's cousins. They all did great and of course Scott was just counting down the days (years) until he can coach Averies team!

4 weeks/1 month update

Averie had her one month check up this week and the girl is GROWing big and strong, 9pounds, 15 ounces and 22inches long (at birth 8.01 + 20inches)!!! She loves to eat :) She has officially been moved into her big girl bed which she loves at night time but not so much during the day. As we enter the second month, we are hoping to get her on a more regular schedule as we all need it! We feel so blessed to have such a happy (most of the time) and healthy little one!

Go Team Averie!

I see some cheerleading potential here!

visitors galore!

We feel so blessed to have the amount of support from all of our friends and family through the past 9 months and it has not stopped! It means so much to us that all of you are apart of such a special time, and if Averie could talk I know she would tell you all how much she loves each and every one of you! Thanks for all of your visits, gifts and blessings, we could not have done it without you. Here are just a few of Averie's visitors over the past 2 weeks.

2 weeks!

Holy cow, where has the time gone. I can't believe our little one is 2 weeks old! She is doing great, loves to eat and is sleeping as well as a 2 week old should sleep (I guess). This picture shows one of her favorite faces to make, we can't seem to get enough of her silly faces.
