crusin with the heath's

This is coming a few weeks late but still wanted to post a few pictures from our vacation. For sometime we have been trying to get together with Scott's family for a vacation and this year we did it, a cruise was the perfect plan. His parents, the soon to be Nonnie and Pops planned the most amazing trip and it went off with out a hitch. We all met up in Tampa, boarded the ship and off we went, a few days at sea, Grand Caymans (my fav) and Mexico. I think we all had our fare share of good laughs, food and fun, looking forward to next year's trip already! Thanks Mom + Pops for a fabulous time!

28 weeks and counting...

today i had my 28 week appointment, nothing too exciting and big with the exception of the number on the scale, ha. measuring good, heart rate of baby heath was perfect, not much else to report. but mentally, i have started the official count down. my appointments are now every 2 weeks so that just feel so much more real to me. can't wait to meet this sweet little girl who's name is still yet to be determined.

cornbread

as most of you know, we've had cornbread a foster pup for the past week and a half . who would of thought one could ever grow so attached in such a little amount of time. well this little girl won our hearts in a matter of minutes. despite her puppy behaviors of potty accidents, chewing on shoes etc, we spent many nights laughing till we could not breathe at funny puppy antics. scott just left to take cornbread to her new forever home where we know she will be so loved, but still, i found myself with huge crocodile tears running down my face as they pulled away. fostering pups is so rewarding but so hard at the same time, we are such suckers for the unconditional love they provide to us.

welcome to baby heath's crib!

Our mission to find the perfect crib for baby heath is accomplished! I'll have to say, Scott was not taking this quest very lightly as he had many requirements. We searched every store we could think of looking for a white crib, more modern, sturdy, made of wood, thick slates, and so on and I think we found just that. After looking every last place, we kept going back to this Koala LIfetime crib from Babies r us. There was some compromising that had to happen (of course) but I know our little angel will sleep like a baby, ha!
And a BIG thank you to Scott's parents, the future Nonnie + Pops for getting baby heath the crib, mattress and all the sleeping essentials she will need.
We really appreciate your generosity!!

bootiful

Boo loves to lay in the sunshine, it's her most favorite activity . And since we decided to shave her down yesterday, she beams in the sunlight. Nothing makes me more happy than to see her soaking up the some rays!
