happy 1 week sweet girl!

We can't believe it's been a week already, we are so in love more and more each day!

welcome Averie!

Born August 18th, 2010 at 9:47pm, 8.01lbs and 20inch long. We feel so blessed to have a healthy family and we are certainly happy to be home with our sweet little girl. Thanks so much to all of our friends + family who have been so supportive through all of this, you are the best. We are getting into the swing of things but we hope to start posting daily :)

39 weeks + 1 day, but who's counting?

nursery, check. car seat, check. house clean, check. anything else baby needs, check. needless to say, we are more than ready for this little girl to come but she seems to be cozy right where she is at. we had our 39 week appointment yesterday and everything looks great however Averie is just no where ready to grace us with her presence. like my sister said, girls are always fashionably late and I guess that's going to be the case here. here are a few updated nursery pictures, we will keep you all posted on any movement/news! hurry up little one, we are ALL ready to meet you!
